These 3-compartment laptop bags are made from soft upcycled post-marketing waste PVC billboard banners. Each laptop bag has a unique flair to match the billboard its made from – an ideal expression of style and stature, for women and men alike! It suits 15.6″ notebooks, laptops and MacBooks (but can accommodate anything from 14″ up to 17″).
The bag has three compartments (2 inside, 1 outside), a shoulder strap and handles. Being made from billboard, it is extremely strong and durable. On the inside, it is lined with waste packaging foam, neatly consealed under a fabric lining (from factory off-cut waste), for shock absorption and protection.
In sporting one of these, you save the billboard waste from going to the landfill (or worse, the river or veld, because they take ages to decompose), you support local jobs for the otherwise unemployed, you set a sustainable trend that many will want to follow, and you express your individuality!
Please note the colours and motifs are random, being made from reclaimed waste there is little standardisation of colours and each item is unique. Specify in the order notes if you want a specific look and we’ll see what we can do. Generally, the prints are great for both women and men.

These fun and whimsical billboard laptop bags are a perfect practical accessory for women and men alike. Each bag has a shoulder sling, two handles, lined foam padding and two inner compartments and an outer zipper pouch. They are durable yet soft and pliable, waterproof, functional and funky!
It is locally made from waste billboard fabric, which is very durable material and takes ages to decompose – current estimates say it takes 20 years before it even starts to degrade! There is also currently no way to recycle billboard fabric, so the creative Upcycle team are figuring out brilliant applications to keep waste billboards out of the landfill.
Note the colours and motifs are completely random, being made from waste there is little standardisation of colours and each item is unique.
