“Join The Resistance!” That is – the extinction rebellion, the climate change activists, the tree-huggers, the zero-waste earth warriors, the ones who dare to care!

Respect existence, or expect resistance!

These bracelets are made from resistors and other electronic components, de-soldered by from broken and discarded circuit boards and lovingly arranged into a chain that symbolizes the circular economy. By wearing these, you are stating your stance on the environmental and social issues that plague our unjust societies, but you are also helping to divert waste from landfills as well as sustaining local artisans in their quest for sustainable change. These bracelets are loaded with meaning. So eclectic, it’s almost electric!

They come in various shapes, sizes and colours – truly unique! If you want a specific look, state it in the order notes, otherwise we’ll pick something special for you based on what is available.

Proudly handmade in South Africa by the Upcycle team, in an effort to divert corporate waste from landfill and transform it into beautiful and useful products, thereby creating opportunities for local microentrepreneurs and self-starters.

Size and other specifications:

Being handmade from reclaimed waste, sizes, colours and motives may differ from pictures, as no two items are the same, every item is unique. The average length (end-to-end) is about 17cm, with a clip that fastens / loosens.
