The Cultured Whey are masters of the craft of fermentation – and this raw kombucha vinegar proves it! It is a slightly sweet, refreshing vinegar, perfect for flavouring water, fruit juice, smoothies or iced tea, or take a tablespoon per day as is. This first-ferment kombucha is brewed to perfection with only organic sugar, black tea and SCOBY. Since it is raw and contains the mother, you can mature it and use it to brew your own second-ferment kombucha with fruit pieces, etc.
Kombucha’s health-promoting properties include the regulation of intestinal flora (thereby regulating intestinal activities), cellular strengthening, antibiotic effects and balancing of pH levels. It is used as a natural body detoxifier, with the glucoronic acid found in kombucha playing an important role in the detoxification process. Raw kombucha vinegar contains B vitamins, amino acids, good yeast and bacteria, antibiotic substances and acetic, lactic, gluconic and glucuronic acids – all because of the special, unique fermentation process used to brew it.

Directions for use:
Take 1 or more tbsp. first thing every morning, mixed in a glass of warm water (preferably boiled or non-chlorinated) or juice. Works best if taken on an empty stomach.
Although there is no daily recommended allowance for kombucha vinegar, generally for acidic drinks one should not exceed 200ml per day. This is not recommended for kids under 12 or for pregnant / breastfeeding women, since it contains a high concentration of probiotics.
Store at room temperature for maximum efficiency. Keep out of direct sunlight. Shelf life of about 12 months.
