Why use a natural deodorant?

Commercial deodorant is one of the worst harmful chemically-laden cosmetics, containing aluminium, parabens, synthetic fragrances, talc.. and this is something we use everyday! There are close links between these harmful ingredients and breast cancer, liver disease, Alzheimer’s, allergies and weakened immune systems…No No NO!

Natural is the way to go, especially for something where the ingredients will be absorbed by your arm pit skin, so close to your mammary glands and lymph nodes.

Even so, not all natural deodorants are created equal, and it can be hard to find ones that work for keeping you dry, stink-free and especially for different pleasant scents, and I mean while you’re going natural, you might as well go plastic-free and natural with the packaging, too (because the environment is just as sick of harmful chemicals as us!)

And this is a biggie: it comes in stick form that you can rub directly on your skin straight from the container – no more smearing pastes in your pits with your fingers!

Directions for use:

First use:

Remove the seal, then remove the cap, and push the bottom hull upwards to expose the balm. See product images.

Subsequent use:

Keep the balm in the container and simply rub the balm onto arm pits straight from the container. Or break off a little piece, warm it in your hands and smear it like a paste onto arm pits. Push the bottom hull slightly upwards to expose the balm as it gets used up. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not let the tube get wet while in use. Avoid getting into eyes. Compost tube after use.

Cocos Nucifera (coconut) oil, Manihot Esculenta (tapioca) root starch, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, Persea gratissima (avocado) butter, Zinc Oxide (non-nano), Sodium Bicarbonate, Kaolin Clay, Hydrogenated Glycine Soja (soy wax), and a blend of essential oils.
