The Khoisan Gourmet organic green rooibos variant follows their traditional time-honoured approach to growing and selecting only the very best organic tea leaves, carefully crafted by master blenders into this exclusive collection of world-class organic herbal brew.

The main difference between dark rooibos and green rooibos tea is that the latter has not been fermented. This is the same difference between normal black tea and green tea. The reason for doing so is to increase the potency of the naturally occurring anti-oxidants, while lending a milder taste profile. In contrast to normal green tea, green rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins, and, depending on who you ask, much tastier! It is rich in anti-oxidants (including aspalathin, quercetin, and nothofagin), and may assist in a variety of health conditions such as diabetes, blood pressure regulation and provide anti-inflammatory benefits.
