Description

The Janna Nanna Swim Nappies are brilliantly designed to let pee through, but to keep solids inside. It is the smart way of using modern, reusable washable nappies for swimming babies!

Why? Because the alternative, keeping everything inside, creates bulging uncomfortable dead-weight for your poor baby, and besides: it rarely works that well to keep everything inside, creating a big fat mess for you. A waterproof swim nappy is also usually quite a bothersome, uncomfortable thing to wear in the pool, more like a scuba suit than a swim costume.

With the Janna Nanna specially-designed swim nappies, the outer layer is a yori/lycra blend, while the inner layers are thin mesh, which works very well to maintain aerodynamics (or, well, you could call it hydro-dynamics…) The legs and waist sections have concealed elastics to ensure solids stay inside, while snap-in clips allows you to adjust the size according to your baby’s body and to grow with your baby. It is light-weight, very stretchy and lets water pass unhindered, for a pleasant free-flowing feeling, almost like a normal swim costume.

It comes in one-size-fits-most, i.e. babies from about 6kg to 17kg, body shape depending.

Directions for use:

• Use as-is on naked baby bottom. No need for boosters, liners, etc.
• Fold the back and front into place, then snap-in the sides to fit your baby
• Note that it is not waterproof, therefore put it on close to the time when your baby will be going for the swim, and change into a waterproof nappy right after the swim
• If soiled, spray solids into a toilet and rinse the nappy. Try to wash it on the same day, both to get rid of baby business / smells but also to get rid of sea salt and pool chemicals, thereby extending the lifespan of the nappy
• Can be washed by hand or machine, using a cloth-nappy-safe laundry agent
• Line dry only!
• DO NOT use bleach, ammonia or any other strong chemicals as it will damage the fabric layers
• DO NOT iron or tumble dry as it will damage the fabric layers
