Janna Nanna Fully Absorbant Bamboo Fitted Night Nappy (Newborn or OSFM)

R355.00

The Janna Nanna Bamboo Fitted Nappies are luxuriously soft, fully absorbent night solutions to last for 8 – 12 hours without changing. If you rely heavily on cloth nappies, this one is for you, as it really can last for hours between changes. It is locally made, designed to fit South African baby body shapes, the fabrics are strong, natural and durable, and the workmanship is of excellent quality – real boon for your fluff stash!

Furthermore, bamboo viscose is spun from shredded natural bamboo fibres – it is unbelievably soft to touch; a real pamper for delicate baby bums! Bamboo fabric is plant-based and one of the most sustainable textiles available (bamboo cultivation requires less land, water and no biocides, compared to cotton, which is usually cultivated in unsustainable fashion, yet it is plastic-free unlike synthetic textiles, therefore it does not shedding micro-plastic in waterways).

It comes in Newborn (0 – 6 months or 2.5kg – 7kg), and One-Size-Fits-Most (6 – 24 months, or 5kg and 17kg), depending on baby body shape.

Description

The Janna Nanna fully absorbent fitted nappies are used mostly as night nappies. One of these nappies with a cover should last your baby 8-12 hours without changing. Night nappies are more bulky than day nappies because it is designed to go much longer stretches without changing.

Note that newborns need to be changed much more frequently than older babies because they consume such large quantities of milk, and most babies still poop at night till 3 or 4 months old.

Features:

  • This is a LUXURIOUSLY soft & squishy nappy made from bamboo terry, heavy-weight bamboo fleece and natural unbleached cotton fleece
  • It consists of two parts: the outer shell, and the snake-style snap-in booster insert
  • Outer shell is 2 layers with the bamboo terry outside for easy snappi grip and thick bamboo fleece inside
  • The snake-style snap-in inserts are 3 layers of heavy-weight natural cotton fleece, topped with one layer of ridiculously soft natural bamboo velour
  • The snap-in snake inserts make it easy to customize absorption in the wet zone
  • 3 layer booster: 1 layer bamboo terry / 2 layers bamboo fleece booster
  • This nappy is designed for medium to medium/heavy wetters
  • It comes in two closure options: Velcro (close like a disposable), or Snappi-style (use a Snappi to hold it together)
  • Locally designed, locally tested, and locally made to fit local babies (unlike cheap imports made in sweat-shops designed for foreign body types)
  • Durable, high quality fabrics made with quality workmanship – gives you a nappy you can reuse from one baby to the next, or alternatively get good second-hand resell value
  • Saves you a fortune over disposable nappies, and less likely to lead to allergic reactions and nappy rash
  • Kinder to the environment your baby will inherit, by reducing the number of disposable nappies sent to landfill (each disposable nappy can take 400 – 500 years to decompose, leaching microplastics and toxic chemicals into the environment)
