When shopping for goods by weight, weigh the bag before and after loading it (it’s lightweight so this only necessary for very expensive produce), then deduct the bag’s empty weight afterwards to obtain the price of the goods inside. Price stickers by weight or by unit can be placed on the bag. Decant goods into jars or other storage containers at home. Bread will not stay fresh for more than a day in the bag – transfer bread to a bin or container for home storage. Wash the bag between uses with mild soap in the laundry. Let dry completely before reusing.
