These Ecoelephant dish covers are amazing eco-friendly alternatives to plastic wrap. The elastic around the cover will keep the cover snug and tight on your bowls. The fabric is thick enough to keep your food fresh. They are great for raising dough, covering cooked food, storing, keeping the bugs off and covering leftovers in the fridge. They are single-layered, hand-made in South Africa with 100% cotton canvas and an elastic stitched inside.

They are great for raising dough, covering cooked food, storing, keeping the bugs off and covering leftovers in the fridge. They are single-layered, hand-made in South Africa with 100% cotton canvas and an elastic stitched inside. Because the elastic is stitched inside the seam (as opposed to on top of the seam), these covers will last longer than most types of fabric dish covers on the market.
Because it is made of natural, biodegradable materials, it is home-compostable at the end of its useful life. Only the elastic band needs to be trashed, the rest is compostable.
Each set comprises of:
- 1 x Rectangular dish cover
- 1 x Round large bowl cover
- 1 x Round medium bowl cover
Directions for use:
Slip the cover over the dish or bowl. Make sure the elastic fits over the edge of the dish or bowl, to ensure the cover stays in place.
Hand wash or machine wash with similar colours, using a mild detergent. Air dry. Store in a dry place.

I hate plastic wrap and this alternative is amazing, the fabric is so pretty and I love how they look in my fridge and on the dining table. Better for the earth too!
