Clear Silicone Stretch Lids Set of 6

Description

These stretchy silicone lids are great for keeping food fresh, preventing spills, and stopping that fridge smell from happening. There are six lids in the set, and each stretches to fit a variety of container sizes. They are reusable, durable and easy to clean – eliminating the need for disposable covers such as plastic cling wrap or foil to cover you bowls, tins and what-nots.

It is made from food-safe silicone (i.e. BPA free and non-toxic) – great for use in the kitchen! Ideal for storing leftovers, taking dishes to potluck, stacking bowls, unfinished drink, leftover fruits, and vegetables. It creates a perfect seal on glass, plastic or metal containers, they can also use as replacement lids for round or square-shaped containers – an all-around great food storage product!

It is dishwasher safe, or can be cleaned by hand with mild dish wash liquid, alongside other dishes.

Directions for use:

Slip the lid over the dish or bowl. Make sure the lid fits over the edge of the dish or bowl, to ensure the lid stays in place.

NB – use a lid size that fits your bowl – do not force-stretch it to fit, or it will eventually tear.

It can be cleaned by hand with mild dish wash liquid, or in the dishwasher, alongside other dishes. Air dry. Store in a dry place.

Sustainability Notes:

There is currently no way to recycle silicone, or cast it into something else, when it reaches end of life. While it is chemically stable (and thus will not leak micro-particles into waterways like plastic does), it is extremely long-lasting. Meaning, if we treat it like disposables, it may lead to an even bigger environmental problem than plastic. Please choose your silicone products wisely – choose for the long-run.
