Bamboo Baby Reusable Cloth Training Pants for Toddlers
R105.00
These reusable cloth Training Pants have built in sizing. There are 3 rows of rise snaps in the front to adjust the crotch height, and the waist is adjustable with the snaps on either side.
The outside is soft PUL waterproofing and the inside has Bamboo terry with 2 layers of Microfibre to absorb those little accidents that happen during potty training. A big plus is that you can easily clean it, wash it and reuse it – thereby saving you money in the long run, and saving the planet (since each disposable nappy takes 400 – 500 years to decompose, their environmental impact, and the volume of use, is a big problem!)

Description
These reusable cloth Training Pants have built-in adjustable sizing, so it grows with your toddler.
A big plus is that you can easily clean it, wash it and reuse it – thereby saving you money in the long run, one nappy at a time! Cloth nappies also have great resale value, and you can use it from one child to the next.
Did you know each disposable nappy takes 400 – 500 years to decompose? With the chemicals it contains, the amount of time these chemicals take to break down, and the sheer volume of use, their environmental impact is huge! From polluting rivers, dams, ground water and the oceans, to causing harm to wild life, to piling up in landfills, disposable nappies outlive their “convenience” for centuries after a single use. If the cost savings of reusable cloth nappies don’t appeal to you – maybe pause to give thought to what kind of planet your child, and possibly grandchildren, will live on, decades from now.
Size:
Fits up to +-25kgs.
Directions for use:
On the bum:
Adjust the side and crotch snaps to fit your toddler, PUL facing outwards. There are 3 rows of rise snaps in the front to adjust the crotch height, and the waist is adjustable with the snaps on either side.
Washing:
Can be washed by hand or by machine. No need to soak nappies. Simply shake off excess solids into the toilet and leave them in your dry bucket until wash day. The most effective washing routine includes:
- Rinse cycle
- Wash on 30 to 40 degrees (a cold wash works just as well)
- Use a cloth-nappy-safe laundry agent so as not to damage the waterproof lining (Never use bleach, fabric softener, blousel, or other harsh chemicals with this nappy as it will damage the nappy!)
- Rinse again.
- Line dry, but do not leave in direct sunlight for extended periods as it may damage the waterproof lining (never tumble dry or iron!).

Bum cream:
Cloth nappies are much healthier than disposables and will lead to fewer nappy rashes; however, it can still occur. Avoid using conventional bum creams, barrier creams or petroleum jellies. The artificial and non-biodegradable chemicals affect the absorbency of your nappy and can cause buildÂ-up on the fibres, reducing the nappy’s efficiency. Instead, use coconut oil (that is naturally anti-bacterial), or a cloth friendly bum cream or lotion, if you feel the need to use something.
