To use the liners, lay inside the nappy (sitting closest to baby’s skin). Moisture passes through the liner into the nappy, solids remain on the liner. Remove and discard when changing nappy (cut or fold in half for newborns).
It is important to note that although these liners are biodegradable, caution should be taken if you choose to flush the liners in the toilet, especially if you have a septic tank or older sewerage system, since it can add more bulk than the system is usually loaded with and block pipes if there is not enough water flowing to flush it with a strong force. Otherwise, compost it in a high-heat warm pile or bokashi system to kill any potential human pathogens.
